Me and My House

After moving everything out of our old house yesterday, we started the task of finding a home for everything in our new house!

But, we've made a little bit of progress as well! We decided to make the previous owner's dining room into our living room.
 The couch we also had in our last house was recently reupholstered and has found its home in our living room.  We have made a bit of progress on the bedrooms as well.

We are happy with our progress so far and are excited to see everything start to come together. Until then, we will be unloading boxes and finding homes for all of our belongings! :)

We officially moved in to our new house yesterday and could not be more excited! Here a few pictures as we started to make the move from our old house:

Our moving crew showed up 45 minutes early and worked so quickly!
We found a few things that were left completely untouched since we moved in 12+ years ago. For example, these birdcages that sat on top of the entertainment center in our living room and had collected a bit of dust over the years!
We also packed up a few things that we're still not sure where they will go in our new home! TBD.
There are just a few things to be picked up from our old garage and our storage unit, and then we will be officially all moved in! Our new house, of course, is still filled almost entirely with boxes! We look forward to sharing pictures as we make progress with getting everything settled!
