A Day of Inspiration

After returning home from our family vacation in Gulf Shores, I spent a full day getting inspired at a few of my favorite decorating stores in the Dallas area.

To start, I stopped by Nicholson-Hardie to pick up two lemon trees to go with the ferns I had already purchased.

Then, I started looking around for fabric inspiration for both our master bedroom chair and dining room chairs. After searching at Calico Corners, Fabric Factory, Wisteria Outlet, and finally Cutting Corners, I saw lots of great options!

While at Wisteria Outlet, I found inspiration for all over the house - including pillow ideas for our bedroom chair, organization ideas, and more!

After my inspiring visit at Wisteria, I made my way to Vintage Living to continue to find ideas for our home.

I loved the color of this chair (shown below on the left) and the throw pillow for our master bedroom. I also loved the striped couch with the monogram pillow (right).

At Vintage Living, I also found a table that I really liked (left) as well as a hutch filled with shells and coral (right) that reminded me of the shells I purchased in Gulf Shores.

A few days later, I found that the box of shells and coral I purchased while in Gulf Shores had arrived and I found a home for the collection in our master bathroom.

After my day of "inspiration shopping" at a few of my favorite stores, I am more excited than ever to continue to add personal touches to our dream home.
